In the last couple of years, I have been building myself a wardrobe of perfect basics. A perfect knit, biker jacket and so on. If you do not know what to wear one day (or always), you can turn to the basics.
//H&M, Weekday, Acne Studios, Uniqlo//
//TbyAlexander Wang, Gap, Jacksonville, Mango, Acne Studios, Enza Costa//
If you have a perfect loose t-shirt (preferably linen), you can match it with a pair of leather trousers and look casual and cool.
//Mango, Mango, Steven Alan, Pure Collection, Equipment, Uniqlo//
For a more preppy look, I love the classic shirt paired up with some jeans and sneakers for a relaxed look.
//Cedric Charlier, COS, Maison Martin Margiela, Theory, Rochas, Milly//
There are so many options out there for coats, but look for one with good materials, and find one best suitable for your body. Hang it over your shoulders, and you are ready to go anywhere.
//Acne, Saint Laurent, Zara, Stylemoi, H&M//
I always turn to the black biker jacket, no matter what time of year it is or where I am going. I think it goes with everything, and it can make a classy outfit more edgy and cool. If you do not want real leather, there are some great faux options out there.
We always need trousers, and these four is a must in my closet. The leather pants, the wide leg, the boyfriend jeans and the tailored black ones. If you have these, you will always be rescued from a fashion emergency.
//Superga, Alexander Wang, H&M, Valentino, Alexander Wang//
When it comes to shoes there is always room for more. I think these 5 pairs are a absolute minimum. The white sneakers, the black pointy toe pumps, the loafers, the perfect flats and the ankle booties.
//Alexander Wang, Sophie Hulme, Malene Birger, Givenchy//
You always need a bag to finish your outfit, and with these you are set for any occasion. The shopper, the cross body bag, the weekend bag and the clutch. With so many options out there, I look for quality, color (black), and minimalism.
