One of my favorite memories from New York is Mercedes Benz Fashion Week one year ago. I was currently interning at Bootleg Market, and I was going to report from the shows and backstage. The first day I was not supposed to work, but my boss called me and told that she had missed her flight, so I had to go in her place to a show. I had just gotten into my slacks, and the show started in just two hours at the other side of Manhattan. I jumped in the shower and realized that I had no idea what to wear. This was a moment I had dreamed about, and I had 20 minutes to get ready. I finally got an outfit together, jumped in a yellow-cab and made it to the show just in time. When I got inside I found out that I was sitting on the front row, and just across from my seat was Leandra Medine (Manrepeller). A moment I will never forget.
These pictures were taken backstage after the Sally Lapointe show.
